Eric Garcia and Angel Rodriguez met in the 5th grade, at Bryant Bears elementary, in the heart of Garden Grove, Orange County. They Hungout, played, got into trouble, and grew together for the next six years, and at the age of sixteen Angel and Eric would take the path of street poetry/ rap. In the long, hot summer afternoons of 2005 Angel and Eric discovered themselves, discovered A-Cap (Angel) and Swagg (Eric). Above the thick, grey clouds of inspiration emerged their first rhymes, their first steps towards there new identity, Rhyme Scheme.A-Cap and Swagg kept on pushing, mixing the nice suttle words with a melodic instrumental, keeping them toward building their rap. Their first gig came in high school and before they realized it they had recorded their first mix tape “The Start Off”, which A-Cap not only rapped, but produced and became the band’s engineer. Later on, their words got heavier, got their essence, and it was necessary to perpetuate those words, it was time to be Rhyme Scheme.

 Rhyme Scheme recorded their Second CD, “Slight Delay” including its art, its words, and its world of universal style where anything and everything is possible. In 2007, Rhyme Scheme embarked in the search for a new twist music. An E.P. reached what they were looking for; Rap that expresses and projected the world that surrounds them, the world that makes them feel alive, They tried to look at the world from a new perspective, and that perspective was “Lifted” the E.P. and here the story has just started.They are Swagg and A-Cap, and everything is all about the Scheme of life, the scheme of rhymes.
